It's a question you can only answer with another question, because „a 50 cm 3D letter" describes at least three different products, with prices that don't overlap and equally different lifespans.
The three base builds are: solid PVC (the most accessible; not translucent, so it's lit externally with a projector or not at all), plexiglass with aluminum or plastic returns (the commercial standard, front-lit with internal LEDs), and metal — stainless, aluminum, brass (premium, halo-lit only, since metal can't light through the face). The price depends on six factors: size (not linear), font and contour complexity, lighting type, LED and power-supply quality, the support and installation, and series volume.
